After party invite for Helsinki International Boat Show – Vene 26 Båt visitors
At a time when the world has pretty much turned on its head, it’s hard to know what is what. But at least one thing remains constant: the biggest and the baddest (bad meaning good) boat show is rolling into Helsinki again.

Yes — at a moment when it’s no longer entirely clear what the term “watersports” might refer to, the Helsinki International Boat Show (Vene 26 Båt) is back, and once again Messukeskus will be temporarily transformed into what can only be described as an indoor marina for people who enjoy fiberglass, horsepower, and spending money like there’s still some left. (There is… somewhere… right?)
How should you orient your course?
- Helsinki International Boat Show – Vene 26 Båt
- 📍 Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre (Messukeskus)
- 📌 Messuaukio 1, 00520 Helsinki, Finland
- 📅 6–15 February 2026 (ten full days of nautical temptation)
- 👥 The show had 67,458 visitors last year — so yes, you will not be alone. Not even emotionally.
Organised by Messukeskus on behalf of Finnboat, with WWF Finland as the sustainability partner — meaning you can drool over boats and feel slightly better about it.
Opening hours
- Fri 6 Feb: 11:00–19:00
- Sat–Sun 7–8 Feb: 10:00–18:00
- Mon–Fri 9–13 Feb: 11:00–19:00
- Sat–Sun 14–15 Feb: 10:00–18:00
The prediction: weekends are packed – with “WOW BOATS!” energy. On a weekday you’ll have more space and freedom to wander around (less stress, fewer elbows).
And every night at 21:00, the best Vene 26 Båt afterparty is at Crystal Show Club, Lönnrotinkatu 19.
Tickets
You can buy tickets online in advance, or at the door.

- Discount groups: €16
- Groups (min. 10 people): €16/person
- Family ticket (max 2 adults + 3 children aged 7–17): €51

What you’re walking into (short version, because this thing is massive)
Think of Vene Båt as Northern Europe’s biggest indoor boating universe, except your shoes stay dry and you can still pretend you might buy something.
- 🚤 Boats. An aggressive ~400 boats on display, plus accessories and equipment for boating, fishing, and water activities.
- 🧰 Gear & tech. Marine accessories, electronics, services — everything you didn’t know you “needed” until someone explains it confidently.
- 🎤 Programme & stages. Loads of talks/presentations, including content in English, plus stage areas and hands-on features. (Also: yes, you can catch the Winter Olympics live.)

Highlights worth looking for:

- 🌊 Maritim Stage (Sailing Harbour): big sea stories (Northwest Passage, Sail & Ski, solo Atlantic plans — the whole “my hobby is surviving” vibe).
- 🏗 Industry talks: Seascape + Hallberg-Rassy leadership talk cruising sailboat development — 7 Feb at 11:00.
- 💙 Baltic Sea Day (13 Feb): includes the €20,000 Save the Baltic Sea Award announcement.
- 🔧 Venemestarin Telakka: practical boat service demos (heaters, decking, batteries, upgrades — the “I can totally do this myself” section).
- ⚓ Totalveneen Messi: new boat models, harbour tips, knot-tying, boat-buying advice — confidence sold separately.
- 🎣 Fishing & Aalto pool area: more fishing boats than before + scuba try-outs, SUP, radio-controlled boats, and yes… mermaids, but for kids.
- 🏆 Awards & family stuff: best boats, fishing awards, children’s world, beginner info — so everyone can claim it’s educational.

How to get there:
Messukeskus is right next to Pasila railway station — Helsinki’s “easy mode.” (Besides Messukeskus, Pasila itself is full of concrete with a brand new shopping center).
- Train: Pasila is next door (short walk)
- Tram:
- Tram 2 to the city centre, terminal right in front of Messukeskus
- Tram 13 from Kalasatama metro to near Pasila
- From the airport: I and P trains to Pasila (about 30 minutes)
- Taxi: about 10–15 minutes from the city centre
- Car: Messuparkki has 4,600 spaces (garage + outdoor) and is always open
The party spot
This event is huge. Like “I came for one thing and now it’s dark outside” huge. So Check the programme, pick your targets, wear good shoes… and when the fair closes call home and explain you will be delayed – be convincing:
Crystal Show Club is open every night 21:00–05:00, and during Vene Båt week the unofficial official afterparty energy tends to… escalate.
Come for a nightcap. Enjoy a Stripteae. Try the 2 floors, check ourt the VIP areas, order our signature drink. Thats what you call a blue ocean strategy. The next day you can sleep late and skip the fair business alltogether, we will be open at 21.00 as usual.
